Dominant Bancroft ease to victory against BPP Law School 52-20

Bancroft emphatically beat BPP Law School 52-20 in a friendly fixture played in great spirit.

The result did not reflect the students’ qualities that led to Bancroft only leading 24-20 at the break following tries from James Conner, Mat Henry, Perry Julier and Joe Steele.

The second half saw Bancroft bring on fresh legs though, resulting in another four unanswered tries from Jack Swash, George Hatt, Henry and Glenn Adams.

Bancroft are back in league action this weekend at home to bottom side Writtle Wanderers and they will be hoping for a victory to put them back in contention for promotion after their previous disappointing 40-18 loss at the hands of Maldon.
