Former West Ham United and Manchester United keeper signs for Olympiakos

Roy Carroll has signed for Greek champions Olympiakos on an 18-month contract.

The 34-year-old former West Ham keeper, who has also played for Manchester United and Wigan Athletic, has featured for Danish club Odense and another Greek outfit, OFI Crete, in recent seasons.

“I’m very happy to have joined such a club,” Carroll said. “It’s a real honour to be part of Olympiakos, Greece’s greatest team. I will do my best in order to contribute and help our squad accomplish its goals.”
