Chingford boxer Oats reaches national finals

Teenager Michael Oats has reached the finals of the National Schools Boxing Championship.
The 13-year-old Chingford boxer defeated Joe Tindall from St Marys 20-3 at Feltham at the weekend. The comprehensive win has seen Oats go through to the final in Nottingham on Saturday.
Repton ABC boxer Oats, who has been boxing for just over a year, was competing in the 30kg competition and his father expects him to go all the way.
Simon, who is a former boxer, said: "It was an excellent performance from him. I really do think that he is going to win in the final."
Mohammed Sheeraz is also through to the finals after beating Western Counties champion Brad Imgram.
The 12-year-old from Ilford punched his way through to the finals with a display of technique, skill and variation of punches.
The Under-44 kg youngster dominated every round and finished with a score of 14-5 against a very game opponent. In the final he will face unbeaten Patrick Birkenhead from Liverpool Rotunda Boxing Club.
