Spurs are thought to be keen on Besiktas midfielder Manuel Fernandes, according to Turkish newspaper Haberturk.
The 26-year-old has experienced life in the Premier League before with both Everton and Portsmouth, and Harry Redknapp is believed to be keen on bringing him back to England.
The Portuguese international, who has won eight caps, is contracted with his club until the summer of 2014.
