Davenant Foundation School came away victorious from the Epping Tennis Club Aegon Secondary Schools Championships.

The event saw singles and doubles competitions held where the sets were reduced to four games. There were eight round robins of four seeded players facing opposing school seeds.

Molly Sewell, Harri Varda and Olivia Cairney took victory from all three of their matches. Gabriella Ingram came away with two wins and a draw while Elorm Metsiwodzi suffered one defeat but was victorious on two occasions.

Josh Aderemi came away with one win and two losses from his three matches.

The results meant Davenant ended with 22 points, one ahead of St. Johns School who finished in second place. Roding Valley School and West Hatch School finished third and fourth respectively.

Davenant will now represent the area in the Essex Schools Championships on 28th June.
