Waltham Forest have appointed Colin Walton as assistant manager ahead of the upcoming 2012/13 campaign.
Walton arrives from Forest’s landlords (and fellow Ryman Division One North side) Ilford, having been in charge at the Foxes for two-and-a-half seasons.
He will now assist Olawale Ojelabi as the Stags look to improve on last season’s 17th place finish.
The Forest squad have returned for pre-season training as they begin their preparations for the upcoming campaign.
There were some new faces in attendance as well as a number of regulars from last season as the squad came together again over the weekend.
The club will train again on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s pre-season friendly with Billericay Town at Wadham Lodge.
