ARSENAL will be watching developments in Portugal after Sporting Lisbon hinted that club captain Joao Moutinho may be sold.
The Gunners are reportedly keen on the 21-year-old midfielder and they will have encouraged by the noises made by club president Felipe Soares Franco, who claimed that every player has their price.
"All Sporting players, in general, have buyout clauses. And these clauses are there as a basis to begin negotiations," he admitted.
Arsene Wenger is in the market for a suitable replacement for the departed Mathieu Flamini and Moutinho, who is famed for his excellent vision, could be viewed as a potential partner for Cesc Fabregas in Arsenal's midfield.
