GUNNERS skipper William Gallas will miss France's World Cup qualifying match with Romani this weekend with a thigh injury.
The central defender was in line to start for Raymond Domenech's team but the 31-year-old has suffered a 'muscular injury to the right thigh', according to a statement on the national side's website.
It is not clear how long Gallas will have to spend on the sidelines, and Arsene Wenger may not risk his captain for the visit of Everton next weekend, with Mikael Silvestre ready to step in for his debut after playing 90 minutes for the club's reserves in midweek.
Gallas joins Robin van Persie on the crocked list for this weekend's set of international fixtures, although both injuries are not though to be serious.
