ARSENAL keeper Luaksz Fabianski insists he is happy to bide his time and wait for his chance to wrestle the number one jersey away from Manuel Almunia.
The Czech stopper joined the Gunners in May 2007 and has so far had to be content with a place on the bench or the occasional run-out with the Carling Cup kids.
That would frustrate most aspiring 23-year-old keepers, but Fabianski knows he is developing with each game and has vowed that he will be ready when he eventually gets the nod from Arsene Wenger.
"I am not complaining at all," he told MF DNES. "Arsenal are a fantastic club and I have been learning a lot.
"Unfortunately I have not managed to become first-choice keeper yet and for a goalkeeper it is important to play often. But I am happy for every chance I get.
"I have been fighting hard and becoming better with every single game."
Meanwhile, Fabianski admitted it was hard to watch his fellow countryman Tomas Rosicky struggle with his recovery from his mysterious hamstring injury.
The midfielder has been out of action since February and recently underwent surgery to insert a screw into his thigh. But with initial suggestions that he could be back in action by October already quashed, it appears Arsenal fans will have to wait until the Christmas period at the earliest to see 'Little Mozart' back in a red and white shirt.
"He continues to train alone at the moment," added Fabianski. "That has been going on for a long time now.
"I hoped we would meet each other at international level this weekend, but that is not going to happen.
"I am very sorry for him. He loves football and Arsenal have missed him."
