KOLO TOURE has called for Thierry Henry to return to Arsenal after the Frenchman has endured a turbulent season with Barcelona.
Henry has been linked with a move back to England, with Manchester City and Newcastle two names that have been mentioned.
However, defender Toure was keen to endorse what would be a sensational move.
"He'll (Henry) be very welcome to come back, because I think he's an Arsenal legend, he can still score a lot of goals, and we will be much better," enthused Toure. "So of course we will welcome him with a lot of joy and happiness because we all know that with him we'll be better.
"I'll try to speak to him soon, we'll try and convince him to come back to his home.
"I think he'll come back to play in England, at Arsenal, because he did so much for the club and I know that the fans still have him in their heart."
Henry recently fuelled speculation linking him with a move back to north London by insisting Arsenal are the only team he would consider joining if he was to make a return to these shores.
