Fourth XI Premier Division

Wanstead & Snaresbrook Fifths beat Stanford Le Hope Thirds by seven wickets.

Stanford posted 178 which Wanstead reached with ease thanks in part to Sriram Pathmarajah, who scored an unbeaten 63.

Wanstead are away to Basildon & Pitsea Thirds on Saturday.

Chingford Fourths drew with Hainault & Clayhall Fourths.

Hainault finished on 225 for eight, which was a good enough score to earn a draw as Chingford ended on 204 for nine, with Shaun Jordan hitting 90.

Woodford Green Thirds lost to Basildon & Pitsea Thirds by 154 runs.

Basildon hit 232 despite Ashok Patel taking five for 50. That proved more than sufficient as Green were then dispatched for a meagre 78.

Green are at home on Saturday to Harold Wood Fourths.

Fourth XI Division One

Buckhust Hill Fourths suffered a shock five-wicket defeat to Wickford Fourths.

The league leaders posted a modest 113, which Wickford reached for the loss of only five wickets.

Buckhurst Hill are away on Saturday to Horndon on the Hill Thirds.

Wanstead & Snaresbrook Sixths beat Epping Thirds by 135 runs thanks to an unbeaten century from Bilal Patel.

Patel hit 109 not out as Wanstead ended on 229 for three.

That was too much for Epping, who were bowled out for 94 despite Saleem Raza’s 51. Majid Malak finished with figures of five for 18.

Wanstead are at home to Fives & Heronians Fourths on Saturday.

Old Parkonians Thirds lost to Chelmsford Fifths by 84 runs.

Chelmsford were restricted to 178 with Parks’ Qais Khan taking five for 29. But the hosts batted poorly in their reply and were bowled out for 94.

Old Parkonians Thirds are away on Saturday to Shenfield Fourths.

Fourth XI Division Three

Loughton Fifths are top of the tree after beating Basildon & Pitsea Fourths by five wickets.

Basildon batted first, posting 211, but Loughton eased to the win with opener Peter Nicholls hitting an unbeaten 86.

Loughton are away to Hainault & Clayhall Fifths on Saturday.

South Woodford Fifths beat Harold Wood Fifths by six wickets.

Wood batted first and were restricted to 127 thanks to three wickets each from Kamran Ali and Zahid Hafeez.

South Woodford reached their target for the loss of just four wickets with Hafeez hitting an unbeaten 48.
