AFTER running title winning Epping close last weekend, Epping captain Shahid Majeed believes his side can push for another win against Old Brentwoods on Saturday.
Majeed's men came within 27 runs of victory last time out, and the skipper is confident that with a similar performance his side can end the 2008 campaign with a victory at Ashwells Road tomorrow.
And after what will be viewed as a frustrating campaign for the Lower Bury Lane men, that would be a huge boost, although they know it wont prevent them from finishing in the bottom four of Division Three.
Reflecting on events Majeed said: “I thought we gave it a good go on Saturday against Buckhurst Hill and kept pushing for the win.
“Of course it was disappointing to come up just short in the end, although I'm sure if we play like that against old Brentwoods we will have a chance of coming away with a win.
“That would be a big boost for us, because we have been disappointed with the way the season has unfolded.”
