Griffiths confident Daggers can avoid the drop

SCOTT Griffiths believes Dagenham's remaining three fixtures will be like three cup finals - and he is desperate to win them all.
After Saturday's 1-1 draw against Rochdale, the Daggers face two away trips up the M1 to Rotherham and Darlington, respectively, before a last-day home encounter with Mansfield Town.
It is a game which could be a relegation decider if the east Londoners fail to grab enough points beforehand.
But no-nonsense defender Griffiths believes Dagenham have enough team spirit to beat the drop and avoid being the first side to get relegated the season after winning promotion from the Conference.
"I've got every faith in the team," he said. "There's too much of a team spirit to let it happen.
"I don't think people can take anything away from us because we're not the biggest of teams compared to a lot of clubs in this league and we've worked hard to get here and we'll work hard to stay here.

"The atmosphere is tremendous amongst the boys. In training everybody has very high spirits despite the position.
"We need to keep our spirits and maintain the performances."
This time last year Dagenham were on their way to winning the Conference.
But the club is currently clinging on to their Football League status by its finger nails - they're only four points above the bottom two - as victories have been harder to come by.
As such, taking maximum points has become all the more precious.
"Obviously we were enjoying the winning last year but because we were winning all the time and not losing we now know how much better it is when we do get a win," said Griffiths.
"The three points means that much more to us so it's a big boost when we get it."
Three points against Rotherham on Saturday would indeed be a big boost and coud ensure Daggers Football League status for a second season.
