DAGGERS: Hit by arrest of striker Scott

Daggers striker Josh Scott faces a GBH probe by police over the alleged glassing of a young woman at a London night-spot.

His arrest in the early hours of Sunday morning casts a shadow over Dagenham and Redbridge FC’s first-ever campaign in League One.

Now the 25 year-old is out on bail on suspicion of grevious bodily harm while police investigations proceed into the incident in Dover Street, Mayfair.

Today, the club refused to comment on what impact Scott’s arrest has on his place in manager John Still’s team.

It is understood the club is waiting to find out if the Metropolitan Police press charges, when Scott answers bail early next month.
