Daggers earned the first point of their League One campaign today, but gave away a two goal lead at Victoria Road.
After a goalless first half, Romain Vincelot's close-range header edged the east Londoners in front on 52 minutes. Then Mark Arber doubled the advantage nineteen minutes later with a low effort inside the box.
But Tranmere dug deep and were rewarded on 78 minutes when Enoch Showunmi hauled them back into the contest when he beat keeper Tony Roberts from six yards out.
Then Aaron Cresswell struck with a beauty of a free-kick into the top corner with just two minutes to go, for Rovers to snatch a point and deny the Daggers a maiden win in League One.
