3:16pm Sunday 29th January 2012 in Daggers
Dagenham & Redbridge came from behind to defeat Rotherham United 3-2 and earn three points which move the Daggers out of the relegation zone.
John Still’s side went in a goal behind at the break after Danny Harrison volleyed the visitors in front.
But a second half fight back started when Jon Nurse levelled after 50 minutes.
Abu Ogogo’s deflected strike put the home side in ahead but that goal was cancelled out just a minute later by an Alex Revell header.
However, a Scott Doe header 13 minutes from time ensured that it would be the hosts who took all three points.
To compound the defeat Michael Raynes was sent off late into the contest after collecting a second yellow card.
The win puts the Daggers two points clear of 23rd place Plymouth Argyle and next up for Still’s side is a long trip to Morecambe.
