SHAHID Majeed is looking forward to this weekend's derby fixture, when his Epping side welcome Ongar to Lower Bury Lane.
Following a superb away win at West Essex last time out, Majeed is in high spirits.
He also hopes that his side's positive attitude will prevail in Saturday's match.
The Epping captain said: "It's always an interesting game against them.
"We're looking forward to it and are very keen to pick up a win.
"They're the sort of side that tend to be a little negative.
"They tend to put you in and then flood the boundary. They try to limit the runs and scoring becomes very hard against them.
"We would rather be chasing so that we could limit them to a low score and then go at our own pace to get the win."
With Epping at reasonable strength for the match, Majeed is looking to push on in the promotion chase.
He added: "There was a huge gap last week and not so much now, it has all tightened up. So two good wins and we would be right up there.
"We're very confident going into the weekend."
