FIVES captain Terry Ballard has urged his troops to continue reproducing the form that saw them defeat Leigh on Sea as they close in on Division Two leaders Harlow.
The Paddock side are now just four points off the Marigolds men going into this week's home fixture with Old Southendians.
And Ballard knows that they cannot afford to make any mistakes if they want to mount a serious challenge for the title.
"There are a few teams around us at the top, but we have just got to keep on going as we are and make sure that we take our chances and don't make any mistakes," said Ballard.
Saturday's opponents represent an 'unknown quantity' for Ballard's team as the two sides have not met.
And, although Old Southendians lie third from bottom in the division, the captain is making sure he doesn't take them lightly.
"We haven't played them for a couple of years and we don't know their strengths and weaknesses," he said.
"They are a bit of an unknown quantity but hopefully we can carry on our form and look for another win."
