Harlow victory was just the tonic, says Stow skipper Harris

5:46pm Thursday 3rd July 2008

WALTHAMSTOW'S Greg Harris believes his side's victory over Harlow at the weekend could be the turning point in the club's season.

Stow ensured they kept in touch with the division's front-runners with a convincing six-wicket win over James Butler's men.

And after finally seeing what his team are capable of, Harris was very optimistic about the rest of the season.

"That result has given us a big boost and it's proved how good we can be," said Harris.

"It's important that we try and get a few results together and keep up with the leaders."

Next up for Walthamstow is Harold Wood. Although level on points with the Greenaway Avenue side, Harris is convinced his side can break away from Saturday's opponents.

"I'm really confident we can get pick up another win this week," insisted Harris.

"The win over Harlow has given us a lot of belief and hopefully we can push on."
