South Woodford keen to get back on track in Colchester

6:04pm Thursday 3rd July 2008

SOUTH WOODFORD will be looking to get their season back on track when they travel to Colchester on Saturday.

Richard Browne's men endured a torrid afternoon last week as they were soundly beaten by high-flying Upminster.

And, after drifting closer to the relegation zone, they will be eager to put things right and pick up what would be their second win of the campaign.

Woodford could only manage 101 runs in their chase after the team's bowlers had done an excellent job in restricting Upminster to just 204.

And after the league's basement boys Chingford registered their first win of the year against Colchester, it is starting to get very congested down the bottom.

Only ten points separate the bottom four sides and South Woodford know that a win at the weekend will help them clamber out of danger.
