WOODFORD Wells face an away trip to Basildon and Pitsea this Saturday as they attempt to strengthen their strangle hold at the summit of the table.
A comprehensive seven-wicket win over mid-table Wickford last weekend saw Will Rogers' men extend their lead to 41 points.
Wells will be hoping that Hassan Chowdhury continues his superb form with the bat after scoring 91 off 58 balls in the win at Monkhams Lane.
Also hoping to continue his good form will be James Lever who took 3-56 with the ball.
Basildon and Pitsea are looking to get back on track after they were humbled by mid-table Ilford last time out.
That defeat ensured they lost ground on the leaders and they will be seeking to regain their touch as the fight for promotion hots up.
This scrap for the top-two places includes Wells, and club captain Rogers will be looking for his side to produce another dominate display to put further distance between them and the chasing pack.
