WEST HAM youngster Tony Brookes has signed his first professional contract with the club.

Brookes joined West Ham when he was just eight years old, and, now 18, all the hard work over the past ten years has paid off handsomly with the award of a one-year deal.

An ankle injury and a bout of glandular fever disrupted his progress last season, but he his now fully fit ahead of the new campaign.
