DAGENHAM & Redbridge were not one of the teams awarded a bye in the Johnstone Paint Trophy.

Sixteen teams were handed a first round bye, including Barnet, Colchester United, Milton Keynes Dons and Wycombe Wanderers in the Southern Section.

The Daggers are in the Southern Section – East group, along with Brentford, Brighton & Hove Albion, Charlton Athletic, Gillingham, Leyton Orient, Southend United and Stevenage.

The draw for the first round will take place on Sky Sports' Soccer AM programme on Saturday, August 14.
