POLICE were called to West Ham's end of season dinner after a fight reportedly broke out between fans and security staff.
According to the Daily Telegraph, the violence erupted at the Grosvenor House Hotel when Hammers striker Demba Ba refused to sign an autograph for a supporter, prompting a furious reaction and leading to tables and chairs being overturned.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “We were called at 9.15pm to reports of a disturbance at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane. Officers attended. There were no offences alleged and no arrests.”
