WEST HAM bring the curtain down on their season with a home clash against Sunderland on Sunday, with both sides left with nothing but pride to play for.
The Hammers have dispensed with the services of Avram Grant following confirmation of their relegation to the Championship last week, and Kevin Keen will now take charge against the Black Cats.
Although the game is effectively a dead rubber, with Sunderland safe from the drop, it will provide something of a trial run for Keen, who has revealed he has designs on the manager's job on a permanent basis.
The Hammers may have seen the last of Scott Parker, who is unlikely to play with an Achilles injury that has plagued him during the season run-in, and is expected to be sold in the summer to trim the wage bill, with no shortage of takers.
Matthew Upson may not feature, either, and his contract is set to expire this summer.
We on the sports desk believe West Ham and Sunderland could serve up an entertaining contest, with nothing to lose.
Prediction: West Ham 2 Sunderland 2
