LEYTON Karate Club, part of the Score complex, landed a first recently when seven members took part in a grading adjudication and all passed with flying colours. The grading course, held by Shotokan Karate England, featured karate coaching by some of England's top Black Belt instructors. More than 200 students from across the south of England took part in the course.
The club meets every Wednesday at the Leyton complex at Oliver Road. New members are welcomed at the karate club.
Other sporting activities take place at the Score complex including aerobics, yoga, tennis, basketball, netball, football, street dance, ballet and gatka.
