Tritons make fine start at the Aquathon

TRIATHLON
WALTHAMSTOW Tritons Triathletes made a successful competitive debut at the Raleigh Aquathlon.
The ten-strong team came away with six top places with trophies going to Sydney Taylor (third girl, 11/12 years) and Armanni Antoine-Chagar (first girl, 13/14 years).
Megan Summers, was placed second in the U8s section.
The Tritons team consisted of children from various local clubs including Walthamstow Tritons SC and Orion Harriers AC.
The Aquathlon is the swim and run parts of the triathlon.
Distances increase with age and vary between events. At Raleigh the 13/14 year olds completed 16 lengths swim and carried out a 2400 metres run.
