FOR the first time in the long history of the Waltham Forest Schools Football Association, one school, Chingford Foundation, snapped-up all four trophies in the end-of-season cup finals.
From Year Seven through to the Year 11 finals, played over a span of nine days, Chingford turned on the skills to lift the trophies.
Starting the win spree was Chingford's Year Seven team who played Highams Park at the Arsenal Academy ground in Hale End.
They won 2-1 with both goals netted by Jay Lantieri.
Highams Park never gave up and were rewarded seven minutes from the end with a Jack Haspineall goal.
Orient's Brisbane Road ground was the setting for the next two schools finals, where Chingford Foundation met Avelling Park School, Walthamstow, in both the Year Ten and Year 11 finals.
A total of seven goals were netted in the first match, the Year Ten final.
Chingford took an early lead when Harry Kane scored but Park replied with two quick goals through Aaron Beckles and Max Melvin.
Luke Robinson equalised for Chingford and then Kane restored their lead with his second goal.
He went on to complete his hat-trick and super sub, Mark Porter, completed Chingford's scoring with a dazzling goal, netted with a thunderball shot at the end of a stylish solo run. Chingford won 5-2.
The Year 11 final finished in 3-1 win to Chingford Foundation.
They went ahead with goals from Nathan Livings and Steven Living, which gave them a half-time lead, and a final goal from Rigers Lulaj which came ten minutes from the end of the match. Aveling had to be content with an own-goal as some consolation for a plucky display.
In the last final, Chingford Foundation Year Eight played Highams Park, at the Arsenal Academy Ground, Walthamstow, Chingford completed their grand sweep of trophy victories with a 3 - 1 win.
