Former Leyton Orient boss Russell Slade has finally been confirmed as Cardiff City's new manager.
Slade resigned as O's boss on September 24 but has had to wait for his move to be confirmed while Orient disputed his exit and Cardiff's approaches.
This appears to have been cleared up although Orient have yet to release a statement confirming the issue has been resolved.
Slade told the Cardiff website: “I’m grateful to Vincent Tan for giving me this opportunity as Cardiff City is a fantastic football club. We have a large squad and it’s more than putting out the best eleven players on paper.
"We need the best group of players out there with the right balance and chemistry. It’s now about building a relationship with the players and installing a strong ethos and work ethic. That’s what I want us to take onto the pitch every week.”
Orient are still yet to confirm their replacement for Slade despite Kevin Nugent insisting he has been offered the head coach role.
