Leyton Orient face a crucial match on Boxing Day at home to fellow strugglers Crawley Town.
The omens aren't good for the O’s against bogey side Crawley, having lost the four meetings between the teams, which have all been in the last two years.
Orient still have plenty of injury victims, especially in attack where Gianvito Plasmati suffered a recurrence of his hamstring strain, although the team are boosted by the availability of Chris Dagnall after completing his three-match suspension.
It is a vital week for Orient with a trip to struggling Yeovil Town following on Monday night before an extra week’s break until their next match.
Liverani said: “We have two matches left until the end of December and then after these we can recover the players because we have ten days without games. Of course we will look at the transfer window as well to fill the gaps.”
Crawley are struggling themselves with a winless run of nine matches while the O's have lost their last four games.
