Leyton Orient players and some staff have not been paid February’s wages, the Guardian Series understands, with a delay in transferring the funds believed to be the cause.
It is understood the club were low on funds and had transferred the money from a bank account in Italy in order to cover the wages for February.
However, the transaction was not completed in time, leading to players and some staff members not being paid.
The Guardian Series understand it is a merely a delay and the affected players and staff will receive their wages for February.
Leyton Orient have refused to confirm or deny whether there has been a delay.
