Leyton Orient assistant boss Marcello Donatelli admits the club will have to wait for results of the scan to find out how long Romain Vincelot will be out for after sustaining a knee ligament injury.

The influential midfielder was stretchered off during the second half of today's 1-0 defeat at Peterborough and will undergo a scan tomorrow.

Donatelli, who was standing in for Fabio Liverani after he flew to Italy for personal reasons straight after the match, said: "I don't know if it's a bad injury. Tomorrow he will have a scan and after this we will know this problem. We hope it's not a bad injury."

The O's remain in the League One relegation zone after their defeat this afternoon. There was little to choose between the sides in a game lacking quality but the hosts' fortunate first-half goal proved the difference.

Jon Taylor's cross appeared to be diverted by the wind into the corner of the net which left goalkeeper Alex Cisak motionless.

Donatelli said: "For me I think the whole game was disturbed by the wind. The goal for Peterborough was a lucky one caused by the wind."

He added: "It was not a good game for us but it was not terrible. In the second half we had two chances through Darius Henderson and Dean Cox. I think the game could have ended up a draw and they scored from a lucky episode and didn't create much more than that."

Orient remain 21st but are now just two points above bottom side Yeovil ahead of next weekend's crunch clash at Brisbane Road.
