Leyton Orient face a pivotal clash this weekend in the battle to avoid relegation when they host bottom side Yeovil Town.

The O's are fourth bottom but will slip below the Glovers if they are beaten tomorrow at Brisbane Road. There is only two points between the sides so it is a crucial fixture in the race for survival in League One.

Fabio Liverani's side have lost their last two matches against Bristol City and Peterborough and they will know the significance of this week which ends with a trip to struggling Crawley Town next weekend.

Orient suffered a major setback when it was confirmed on Tuesday midfielder Romain Vincelot will miss the rest of the season with medial knee ligament damage.

But the O's could have winger Ryan Hedges and defender Shane Lowry available after they missed last week's defeat at Peterborough.

Speaking last weekend, assistant boss Marcello Donatelli said: “Now they are injured but should be available next week.

“Hedges has a hamstring strain and Lowry has a stiffness in his leg. They were not available today.”

Orient eased to a 3-0 win over Yeovil back in December but have since sacked manager Gary Johnson with Terry Skiverton acting as caretaker boss.

Their form has not improved significantly with just one win from their last seven matches.
