Leyton Orient will bid to climb out of the League One relegation zone with a win over form side Barnsley this evening.

The O's remain 21st in the table despite easing to a 3-0 win over Yeovil on Saturday. It was their fourth victory in the last seven games and leaves them two points off safety with a game in hand.

Fabio Liverani's side could be without defender Mathieu Baudry after picking up a knock which forced him off during the closing stages of Saturday's win.

Barnsley are on an exceptional run which has seen them climb into the top-six of the division. The side have been revived under new boss Lee Johnson and have won their last six matches.

The O's defeat at Barnsley in December was one of the worst displays under Liverani but the Italian has confidence his side can overcome the Tykes.

Liverani said: "For us, every game is very difficult. But we feel confident we can win against all the teams so we will try to do this."

It is the second game in a crucial week for Orient with the O's travelling to a Crawley side one place below them on Saturday.
