Leyton Orient captain Nathan Clarke admitted he was embarrassed after Saturday's 6-1 thrashing at MK Dons but is determined to put this right in tomorrow's trip to Rochdale.

The O's dropped back into the League One relegation zone after their heaviest defeat in 13 years.

Clarke was apologetic for Orient's display but has underlined the team have to put it behind them quickly ahead of tomorrow's game.

Clarke said: "We're professionals and to lose like we have done today is an embarrassment. It's one we unfortunately need to forget about. There's not many games left so we can't dwell on this and have to move on.

The skipper added: "We've let a lot of people down. A lot of family and friends and the fans as well. It's disappointing because we had a good number of fans here today and I just hope they've not lost faith in us.

"We want to repay them. They're spending a lot of money travelling up and down and we hope they do that again on Tuesday for us."
