Leyton Orient could be relegated from League One tomorrow if they fail to win at home to Sheffield United and results go against them.

O's boss Fabio Liverani accepts his team have to deliver this weekend, in their final match of the season at Brisbane Road, to have a realistic chance of staying up but has called on the fans to give their support throughout the match.

He said: “Really the only way we can convince the fans to believe in us is to put everything on the pitch. The players have to put everything on the pitch as they normally do. Sometimes we manage to get a result and sometimes we don’t.

“It’s the last home game of the season and for us it’s really the last call for us. We need to win this game and the next one as well. All I can ask the supporters is from the first minute to the 90th to support us and push us as much as they can.

“At the end of the game, if the result is not positive of course they are free to show their anger to us. But during the game we need their support.”

Striker Darius Henderson will not be fit for tomorrow's game due to the hamstring injury which sidelined him this week. But defender Scott Cuthbert could return after missing the Rochdale defeat because his wife was giving birth to their baby girl.

Sheffield United are fifth in the table and only need one point to ensure they secure a play-off place.

The Blades are without a win in three games but have only lost one of their last nine away matches.
