Leyton Orient have agreed new deals with a group of the club's young players including Harry Lee.

Midfielder Lee made four substitute appearances for the O's last season and has signed a one-year contract to remain at Brisbane Road.

Highly-rated winger Sandro Semedo has been handed a two-year contract after scoring four goals in 13 appearances for the youth team last season.

Midfielders Montel Agyemang and Freddy Moncur, defenders Jack Humphrey and Sam Ling and winger Scott Kashket have also agreed contracts for next season.

Fans will be familiar with Kashket after the attacker made three substitute appearances for Orient last season.

It could be a significant move by the club towards giving younger players an opportunity in the team after the failings of the older signings such as Gianvito Plasmati and Andrea Dossena last season.

Academy Director Andy Edwards told the club website: "It's really positive for the Academy to have these players involved with the first team, joining the likes of Harry Lee and Charlie Grainger who have come through the system at the club.

"It is a good opportunity for the players to come in and impress the new first-team management team."
