Leyton Orient are reportedly in talks to sign Peterborough United midfielder Jack Payne.
The O's sold Romain Vincelot to Coventry City last week and could be lining up the Posh captain as a replacement after the 23-year-old was placed on the transfer list in May.
Peterborough owner Darragh MacAnthony tweeted: "Lots of questions regards JP & Leyton Orient. Nothing is agreed with Orient at present and they are one of a few clubs negotiating for him."
