Leyton Orient have the chance to make amends for one of the low points of last season when they visit MK Dons in the League Cup first round tonight.

The O's suffered a humiliating 6-1 defeat back in April towards the end of a campaign which resulted in promotion for the hosts and relegation for Orient.

MK Dons find themselves top of the first Championship table of the season after a 4-1 win at Rotherham United on Saturday.

Orient also got off to a promising start to the campaign after Ian Hendon's side defeated Barnet 2-0 at Brisbane Road.

The visitors could make several changes to the side with former Millwall defender Alan Dunne still looking for his full debut after coming off the bench at the weekend.

Head coach Hendon said: "He [Dunne] could be involved and a few of them could be involved but I know MK Dons have had a great result today so we'll see."

The O's will be hoping for another decent run in the competition after the side claimed a shock win at Aston Villa last season on their way to the third round.
