Leyton Orient have complained to MK Dons over the seating arrangements for away supporters during Tuesday's Capital One Cup defeat.
The visiting fans were sold tickets in the top corner of the stadium despite a crowd of just 5,444 attending the cup tie.
A statement on the O's website said: "We were very unhappy to see that the Orient fans were put so high up in a corner section of the Stadium MK on an evening when there were 25,000 empty seats in the ground.
"We believe that this was unsporting and unnecessary on the part of our opponents, and we have written to MK Dons to make them aware of our complaint.
"We don't think that supporters, home or away, should be treated in that way and can only apologise to our fans that they were not better accommodated."
