Leyton Orient head coach Ian Hendon believes it is going to get more difficult for his side after the O's moved top of League Two.

Orient have won their opening three matches this season to set the early pace but Hendon believes clubs are going to target them as a scalp.

Hendon said: “I’ve just said to the lads in there it’s going to get more difficult. Like you said, we’ve gone top of the table but teams that are going to come here or wherever we go are going to want to beat Orient.

"The pressure is going to mount on the players and it’s [about] how they handle it.”

But Hendon is delighted with the squad's spirit and togetherness which was again evident in Tuesday's win over Stevenage.

He said: "When we score a goal the lads all go in and celebrate and that's a bit of spirit amongst them which is great. I love to see that and hope it's come from the staff in how we treat them day to day.

"We've got a good group there and the subs have come on and put in a shift in every game. That's what we want them to do."
