Leyton Orient have been handed a home tie against Scunthorpe United in the FA Cup second round.

The draw was made this evening at Civil Service FC, a founding member of the Football Association.

And Ian Hendon’s men were pitched against League One Scunthorpe, a side they beat 2-1 at Glanford Park last season before losing 4-1 at the Matchroom Stadium.

The Iron secured their place in the hat for round two by beating League Two new-boys Southend United 2-1 at home on Saturday.

Orient, meanwhile, were 6-1 winners over Isthmian Premier Division outfit Staines Town.

The ties will be played over the weekend of Friday, December 4 to Monday, December 7 and there is £27,000 awaiting the winner of every tie in prize money.
