Leyton Orient head coach Ian Hendon believes defender Frazer Shaw has set the benchmark after his performance in Saturday's win over Staines Town.

The left-back had not featured in the side since the end of September after losing his place to loanee Adam Chicksen. But Shaw returned to the team following the end of Chicksen's month at the club and impressed for the O's.

The former West Ham United youngster, who joined Orient from Dulwich Hamlet this summer, set up the first two goals in the hosts' emphatic FA Cup victory.

Hendon said: "I thought Frazer [Shaw] was excellent. He got forward at the right times and more importantly for me he defended very well.

"He had a tricky one up against him, he stood up, held his ground and did a fantastic job so he's set his benchmark now and has got to keep doing it."
