Leyton Orient player-manager Kevin Nolan insists it won't be hard to lift his players for tomorrow's game at York City after their miserable Easter weekend.

The O's hopes of reaching the League Two play-offs suffered a setback after back-to-back defeats against Accrington and Hartlepool.

But the Orient boss believes his team will be put this behind them and produce a reaction to get their promotion bid back on track.

Speaking on Monday, Nolan said: “It won’t be difficult because there are a lot of sad and disappointed faces in there.

“I think if the lads could play tomorrow I think they would and put the result behind them. But they’re not going to be able to and we’re going to have suffer through it for the next four days.

“It’s something we’re going to look forward to on Saturday and hopefully erasing these memories of a miserable Easter weekend and try to get on a bit of a run.

“It’s going to be difficult because we’ve got a lot of teams in and around the bottom but they’re certainly winnable games for us.”

Orient will hope to have defender Shaun Brisley available again after he missed the Hartlepool game with a dead leg.

Captain Mathieu Baudry serves the final game of his four-match suspension this weekend.

The O's are boosted by the return of midfielders Jobi McAnuff and Calaum Jahraldo-Martin after missing the last two matches due to international duty.

York, who have not won since February, face an uphill battle to avoid relegation with the side seven points behind third bottom Stevenage.

Orient defeated York 3-2 at home back in November and the O's know the importance of completing the double over them as they attempt to chase down seventh-placed Wycombe.
