Promotion challengers Leyton Orient face a short trip to Barnet this weekend and the O’s will be boosted by the return of captain Mathieu Baudry.

The defender has been suspended for four matches after his sending off at Oxford United last month.

Nolan is glad to have Baudry back in the squad but has been pleased with how Shaun Brisley and Peter Ramage have coped in his absence.

The O’s boss said: “Obviously you’re always going to miss your skipper but I think the lads who have stood in have done really well.

“I think we were unfortunate we missed Bris on Monday which was a major blow and he was carrying a knock against Accrington, we found out after the game.

"Obviously with his pride and being a big, tough Manchester lad he didn’t want to come off with a dead leg with it obviously being in Accrington which probably didn’t help our cause.

“That’s what happens so it will be nice to have a full squad to choose from next week and we’ll see where we go with the team selection and how that goes.

“We’ll see how fit Mathieu is because he has missed a lot of football and missed a few days with an injury.”

The O's are one point and two places outside the League Two play-offs after a three match winless run.

Orient played Barnet on the opening day of this season and Ian Hendon's side won 2-0.

Martin Allen's side started the season slowly following promotion but their form has picked up significantly and the Bees are now in mid-table.

The O's are unbeaten in nine games against Barnet and have won five of the last six clashes.
