Leyton Orient have confirmed Mathieu Baudry, Jobi McAnuff and Lloyd James are among eight players leaving this summer.

The O's offered a new contract to captain Baudry but the French defender has decided to move on.

Baudry joined Orient in 2012 and made 157 appearances for the O's during his time at Brisbane Road.

James made 29 appearances last season but the midfielder will also move on after four years at the club.

McAnuff is also leaving the League Two club after two seasons at Orient. The experienced midfielder was a disappointment in his first year at the club. He was left out of the squad at the start of last season until November.

But after returning to the first-team fold he produced a series of encouraging performances before missing the last month of the season through international duty and injury.

Frazer Shaw, Connor Essam, Blair Turgott, Bradley Pritchard and Gary Woods are also leaving after the end of their contract next month.

But defender Nicky Hunt, who joined in the January transfer window, has agreed to remain at the club for another season.
