Leyton Orient have appointed Martin Brennan as their new first team goalkeeper coach.
Brennan has signed a one-year-deal at the Matchroom Stadium and arrives from Championship side Fulham, where he worked with both the first and Under-21 team.
Prior to his work with the Cottagers, Brennan held roles with Tottenham Hotspur, where he worked primarily with their Under-21 goalkeepers and Wycombe Wanderers where he assisted both Peter Taylor and Gary Waddock.
His playing career saw him represent the likes of Charlton Athletic, Cambridge United and Dagenham and Redbridge.
The O’s new coach is no stranger to the Matchroom Stadium, having come through the youth ranks as a goalkeeper, before returning to the club at the end of his playing career to coach their youth keepers.
Speaking to Leyton Orient’s website, Brennan said: “I am very excited to be back at the club for a third time and to get started.
“I was here from the ages of nine to 13 and then I came back to coach when the academy was the Centre of Excellence.
“It is always a club that I have looked out for result wise as well as living in the area and it is a club my dad took me to as a kid as well so I have always had a soft spot for them.”
