Ollie Palmer is not worried over Leyton Orient’s lowly position in League Two after the defeat to Luton left the Os in 22nd place.

Orient are currently on a seven-game winless streak and have lost six of their seven home games this season.

The striker had given the Os fans some ray of light as he scored his second goal of the season and ended the east London’s club long run of no goals since September 24.

“We’ve not won for quite a while now. It is no Secret we need to turn out form and quick,” said Palmer.

“There is not a problem at Brisbane Road. The fans have been supportive and are always behind the players, whatever goes on behind the scenes with managers.

“I’m not going to look at the league table too much. We need to get up the table as quick as we can and stay up there, but it is not a massive concern right now.

"If you look at last season Bristol Rovers and AFC Wimbledon had their problems at the start of the season and they ended up both getting promoted."

Os boss Alberto Cavasin is yet to win under his short tenure so far with Orient but has faced tough opposition in the likes of Southend, Portsmouth and Luton.

The 60-year-old has never managed in England before and is learning English five days per week three hours a day.

And Palmer was keen to stress everyone understands what their new boss wants them to do.

He added: “We have got a translator who is very good at his job.

“We understand completely what he wants us to do and what we need to do.

“It is not too difficult really. He has brought a slightly different style of play as he wants us to get an identity.”

The 24-year-old also believed the Os can pick up their form as they will try and take all three points back home to London.

The match kicks off at 3pm tomorrow at Hartlepool's Victoria Park.
