As Sunday night's podcast came to an end, we decided to finish with the track ‘Don't Stop Believing’ by Journey, which seemed apt following some spirited performances since Danny Webb's appointment as manager.

Sure results hadn't gone our way, but the fight was there, it felt as if we were getting our Orient back just when we needed it the most.

Sitting here writing this after Tuesday night's unforeseen victory away to Plymouth (only one correct prediction for this match), we won't stop believing as the O’s pulled off a sensational victory away to the team placed 2nd in League Two.

With 2 minutes left we were 2-1 down, but thanks to late Gavin Massey and Sandro Semedo goals we won the game 3-2, which not only shows the belief the team now have, but is also a testament to Danny's decision to bring in Michael Asamoah as fitness coach, which is clearly reaping the rewards.

Massey has been a revelation in the last couple of weeks, and quite rightly is getting a lot of the plaudits. But as well as Massey is playing, a huge amount of kudos must be given to young Myles Judd who is playing behind him, making the runs either side of him to confuse and take out the opposing defenders.

Massey has scored some vital and cracking goals in the last few weeks, and is starting to turn up at the right places at the right times (Portsmouth, Yeovil and Plymouth) and it is vital he is kept fit, fresh and is allowed to flourish with Myles behind him.

Liam Kelly has recently returned to the team following his lengthy injury and feels like a new signing. He was doing well before his lay off and since he has returned to the starting line up we have taken four points from six, and with Michael Collins, Nigel Atangana and Sammy Moore all in central midfield it does seem like we have good competition for places for that position.

Liam is Vice Captain and is exactly the type of player who we have missed on the pitch over the last few months. We need grafters and experienced heads in the team who will tell the youngsters what to do and lead the team forward.

The young lads have done exceptionally well since they have been brought in and perhaps nobody more than Sam Sargeant. Eyebrows were certainly raised when Sam was made Danny's number one choice and Sam has definitely done well since he has been thrown in between the sticks, including a vital save vs Plymouth at 2-1.

We have already mentioned Myles who is already turning into a fans favourite at Brisbane Road with his committed performances. Sandro Semedo has been in the team pretty much all season and with age and experience will only get better, as well as scoring more late winners (great composure shown there for his goal against Plymouth).

And up front we have Sam Dalby who has been working his socks off and only made his full first team debut on Boxing Day. Victor Adeboyejo looked lively against Morecambe and is another option to play up front.

The only concern at the minute is that Paul McCallum appears to be injured, but time will tell on that one, and the decision to not include Alex Cisak in the squad, but again time will tell.

Webb and Omer Riza have done fantastically well in his their 4 games, they have instilled grit, determination and have made players fight for the shirt and as a fan that is all you can ask for.

Although there is a long way to go and there will be more ups and downs in our remaining games the players are definitely responding to them and things are looking better than they were 2 weeks ago.

Look at the reactions now when players score, we saw it at Yeovil on Saturday when even the club photographer Simon O’Connor got involved in the celebrations, and we saw it again on Tuesday not only for Gavin's equaliser, but for Sandro’s winner, the players care and they are playing for each other and the shirt. We have taken 4pts from the last 6 available and hopefully things will be looking even better at 5pm on Saturday.

So on to Saturday we go, in what is one of the biggest games in years vs Notts County (as Kevin Nolan and Richard Thomas) return to Brisbane Road.

Win, and we will definitely be out of the bottom two and could even hit the giddy heights of 19th if results go our way.

If you are going on Saturday then sing and stand up for the Orient, let's be the 12th man, make a racket and cheer the O’s on to three points and… Don't Stop Believing!

Up the O’s!
