Leyton Orient's Fans Trust finding fund has reached £65,000, six days in, but the O's faithful still need your help.

Yesterday, it was revealed that LOFT believes Orient have significant debt elsewhere owed to other creditors after doing their own investigations.

The fund will be used to help the O's in whatever case it need be whether that be to help Becchetti find a new owner, administration or a phoenix club.

Fans have also been selling Orient memorabilia to put as much as they can towards the fundraising.

Orient were served a winding up petition by HMRC over president Becchetti's unpaid tax bill reported to be around £125-250k.

It was the latest news in a long line of turmoil in the two and a half years since the Italian bought the club.

When he bought Orient from former owner Barry Hearn in 2014 for £4m, the O's were one spot kick away from the Championship.

LOFT also voted to opt to seek an administrator, but at the latest time that is available to them.

This was to give Becchetti some time to pay the unpaid bill.

The supporters group are to hold an open meeting on Monday, March 13 for all O's fans to attend at the Walthamstow Assembly Hall at 7:30pm.
